About The Author

Sheila O'Connor-Dixon has a writing background in Broadcast Journalism. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia. Her first job out of school was in Hannibal, Missouri, as a Radio Anchor/Reporter. From there, she went to Quincy, Illinois, in the same market, as a Television Anchor/Reporter.

Ms Dixon wrote a feature article for Creations Magazine (Oct/Nov 06) READ 'A Peek Into Heaven'.

During her 15 year career, she also worked in Des Moines, Iowa; Austin, Texas, Orlando, FL; and West Palm Beach, FL. She now resides in Orlando with her husband.

Ms. Dixon writes, hoping it will be a fun way for children to learn about reading and rhyming. It also teaches them socialization skills as they follow the characters in the book, Connor and Katy as they go places. Her writing style is especially valuable for children ages 3 years to 8 years.
